Corporation tax returns
With corporation tax reliefs and rates changing annually and a variety of tax relief opportunities available, it can be complicated to work out what you are entitled to and to make sure you submit the correct information to HMRC.
Our team of tax specialists will work out all relevant tax adjustments, ensuring any allowable expenses, losses and allowances are offset. They will also take responsibility for submitting all figures to HMRC within the relevant timescale.
Capital gains tax

VAT returns
We can help you with all matters relating to VAT – including advising if and when a business should register (or de-register) for VAT, investigating eligible VAT schemes, preparing VAT returns and liaising with HMRC. We make sure our clients are aware of the timescales involved so late registrations, returns and payments - and therefore possible penalties - are avoided.
R&D tax relief
Any organisation that carries out research and development may be eligible for R&D tax relief. Specific criteria are in place to qualify for these tax credits, both for SMEs and large companies, and we can advise if an organisation is eligible to apply. With tax relief being as high as 230% for SMEs and 130% for large companies, it’s a potentially huge tax saving that many companies are missing out on.
Tax investigation
Any company at any time can be selected for a tax enquiry by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). Any organisation that has gone through this will know it’s a time-consuming and arduous task. It’s also an expensive one, due to the amount of time a tax accountant has to spend during this process.
We offer a Tax Investigation Service for clients so that, if HMRC opens a tax investigation into their company, our tax consultancy specialists will review the case and represent them. All our clients need to pay for is the cost of the investigation insurance premium.
